Pale red color of medium-high hue, with violet tones. Intense primary aromas of red fruits (blackberries, raspberries, currants). Expressive on the palate, fruity and very persistent with notes of licorice.

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature by applying gentle daily stirring in order to enhance the extraction of color and aromas.
Pairs with chili con carne, pasta Bolognese, Asian cuisine, curries, grilled steak, and braises like Cassoulet and Beef Bourguignon. Try with blue cheeses like Stilton or Fourme d’Ambert from Auvergne.
