Deep red in color and showing aromas of ripe raspberry, cassis and cherry with subtle hints of cinnamon and clove. On the palate this unfiltered wine is dense and structured with smooth yet mature tannins leading to a long complex finish.
Hand-harvested grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged 14 months in American oak barrels. During the aging process the wine is transferred from barrel so that it can express the varietal and the singularity of the terrior.
Our vineyards consist of poor limestone terraces with clay-calcareous rocks that appears in zones. These terraces are mostly made up of sandstones and marls with origins in the Quaternary era. North-West oriented white vines terraces vary in altitude between 650 m. And 800 m.
This wine pairs well with Spanish cuisine, especially lamb, pork and recipes that contain red peppers, pimento, garlic and saffron.
