Ruby red with violet reflections. On the nose it is rich in essences of red fruits, hints of spices such as black pepper and cloves. On the palate it is warm and fleshy, with firm tannins, and slight almond and floral finish.
The grapes arrive in the cellar and are immediately pressed with a horizontal press. The pressed juice is sent to maceration in controlled temperature tanks for ten days. The evolution of tannins and total acidity is constantly monitored. After careful tasting, it is bottled and put to rest for a period of about five months before being sold.
It goes well with grilled meats and roasts, savory pasta dishes, cheeses and cured meats. Excellent with pappardelle and veal sauce.
