This wine is intense and dark with powerful and fresh aromas of blackberry and red currant. A deep black fruit palate leads to a long silky finish.
Made from low yield vines between 10 to 15 years old. The grapes macerate and ferment for one week in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 25°C to preserve the fruit and extract the tannin.
Our vineyards lay in traditionally dry-land and head pruned plots suited for making young wines. The varieties are grown on trellises with support irrigation, allowing ripening to be reached. Vineyard soils are poor in nutrients and rich in active limestone, have a significant clay base and a high content of large stones which makes the grapes permeable and fresh.
Pair this wine with wild game, cheese or traditional Spanish food and Italian dishes. Serve preferably between 57ºF and 63ºF.
